Meet Your Hosts
Here to welcome you from your first step onto the island, Aly and Eddie are our resort managers and your gracious hosts, ensuring your comfort and the seamless operation of day-to-day life on the island.
Aly
Aly hails all the way from England, and prior to joining the Turneffe Island Resort management team, Aly studied marine biology in college. Always full of facts, her love for marine life and ocean preservation is evident in the thoughtful way she interacts with everyone she meets, and she’s always ready to share her knowledge.
Our long-time guests at Turneffe Island Resort return time after time to see Aly’s smiling face on the dock, and our first-time guests can look forward to getting to know Aly at happy hour. Aly is always available for administration needs in the office during the day, or you can just stop by and she can help you identify that fish you saw during your snorkel trip.
Eddie
Holding a degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management with Sustainable Development, Eddie has vast experience in the hospitality industry, from managing jungle lodges and marine base resorts to being a certified Belize tour guide. Eddie enjoys birdwatching and fish identification, and he’s also a certified Dive Master and boat captain.
Eddie sits on the advisory boards for both Turneffe Atoll (Flats Fishery Working Group) and Lighthouse Reef Atoll (Audubon Society).
